ALPHA PROGRAM

The Alpha program is for graduate and undergraduate studies in Europe. It is recommended for students who are earning, possess savings for first-year expenses, and are prepared for the work-study program. Preference will be given to students who can show sufficient funds to cover their first and subsequent years of studies and are willing to work part-time while they attend classes and full-time during vacations.

Program Expenses

Estimated expenses, including tuition + room and board is €4,500. The estimated subsequent year cost is €4,000/year, which must be paid by the student, their parents or a sponsor.

Student Visa and processing fee is $3,500. Doesn’t include airfare and / or hotel accommodations.

University fee is charged in Euros and the Visa fee is charged in U.S. Dollars.

Daily Schedule at SEEU

Graduate students have classes every other week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They can work during their non-class hours to earn for the second year’s education cost.

Undergraduate students have classes every day on weekdays. They can only work part-time in the evening or on weekends.

Grade & Language Requirement

Minimum grades for South Asia Students: 60% or higher

Minimum GPA for Central Asia Students: 3.0 or higher

English language proficiency level: Minimum B1 with the capacity to improve to B2 by September of the school year.

ADMISSIONS AND VISA PROCESS

Pre-selection

All students will be pre-selected through video submission and online interview

Interview

Students will attend a face to face interview with Shams Family Foundation personnel.

Admission Application Review

SEEU and SFF will review admission applications and review documents necessary for final approval.

Harvard Certification

Acquire Harvard certification for 2 courses (See above). Only required by students enrolling in Merit/Beta program.

Screening

Students will be screened by Noha Visa Concierge including background checks and financial strength verification

Visa Processing & Travel

NVC will provide a completely guided visa acquiring experience including visa application submission, documentation, visa interviews and assistance with booking all necessary travels.
